Surprisingly enough this was a tough call, almost all of season four of Enterprise could land in my favourite list and there are episodes sprinkled throughout the other three seasons which are real treats. Enterprise really shines on repeat viewing and it’s such a shame we’ll never get a chance to revisit these characters unless T’Pol shows up in Discovery.
Carbon Creek is just a fun episode, ironically full of emotion with an extremely satisfying ending. These are the Vulcans, not the hyper arrogant race we’ve been bombarded with. They are extremely smart and awkward when it comes to emotional races and this is captured perfectly.
Like The Inner Light I feel slightly guilty picking an episode that doesn’t feature the whole cast but this is just plain good storytelling.
If I ever actually make it over to the US I do plain on visiting the street that served as Carbon Creek.
