101 of 366 – The Lost Boys (1987): Edgar Frog

I think I should warn you all, when a vampire bites it, it’s never a pretty sight. No two blood suckers go out the same way. Some yell and scream, some go quietly, some explode, some implode. But, all will try and take you with them.

LOL as with so many of these films it has been years since I sat down to watch The Lost Boys.  At the time it was a surprisingly unique take on the whole vampire genre (well maybe just a popular take – I don’t remember when Near Dark came out).

Whilst I have my rule of only one character per these scribbles I couldn’t NOT include the bare chested pony tail sax player!!!

I really hope there are fan fics written about him.  There are some neat interviews with him on youtube so if you’re so inclined go check them out.

This is part of the 366 Characters from 366 Films project running throughout 2020. The original illustrations go on sale over on the Lee Draws Stuff store the same day (around 9:00 am Brisbane time) and are available until someone snaps it up.

Remember if you dig my stuff and wouldn’t mind seeing semi-daily journal entries which include sneak peeks, behind the scenes and first looks then head over to Patreon and subscribe for as little as $1 (US) a month.
