I’d never heard of the Dybbuk from Jewish folklore, so this is one of the mythological creatures I got to learn about in this project which is such a bonus. The Dybbuk is essentially a spirit that possesses someone to attempt to finalise something left unfinished in life. The name suggests malice, but the spirits are simply the ghosts of people who have unfinished business in life, and they depart after they complete their task. I imagine being possessed by a ghost is pretty unwelcomed by most people.
