Day 22 – John Carter (2012): Woola

“Woola will follow you anywhere.”

John Carter is possibly the most underrated film of all time, in my very humble opinion of course.  It would easily rank in my top twenty favourite films of all time.  I hadn’t read the books prior which I’m sure helps to enjoy the film more because they do differ, but it did encourage me to check them out and fall in love with them as well.  It is a source of frustration though that these incredibly rich and wonderful stories probably won’t be told anytime soon on the big screen.

I didn’t think I’d like Woola so much but damn if the dog / alien thingie didn’t capture my heart!

This is part of the 366 Characters from 366 Films project running throughout 2020. The original illustrations go on sale over on the Lee Draws Stuff store the same day (around 9:00 am Brisbane time) and are available until someone snaps it up.

Remember if you dig my stuff and wouldn’t mind seeing semi-daily journal entries which include sneak peeks, behind the scenes and first looks then head over to Patreon and subscribe for as little as $1 (US) a month.
