Day 58 – Thor: The Dark World (2013): Dr Jane Foster

[Slaps Loki] “That was for New York!”

As much as I love Thor I actually think that Jane is the best thing about this remarkably lackluster affair. My favourite scene is definitely when she slaps Loki but I kind of love the whole visiting Asgard experience and meeting Thor’s parents. It has a great sense of normalcy meeting not normal, at all LOL.

I think it’s great that she’s coming back for the next Thor Love and Thunder and I can’t wait to see her as female Thor and I really don’t care what the naysayers are carrying on about. I suspect Portman had to be sold on the idea to come back so I can’t imagine it isn’t cool.

I am on record though that I feel there are way too many pumpkins in this film and got into lengthy debates with people of Twitter (never do this) regarding it.

This is part of the 366 Characters from 366 Films project running throughout 2020. The original illustrations go on sale over on the Lee Draws Stuff store the same day (around 9:00 am Brisbane time) and are available until someone snaps it up.
