Day 70 – Superman II (1980): General Zod

Come to me, son of Jor-El! Kneel before Zod!

General Zod is just iconic, Terence Stamp is just perfect and kneel before Zod is just a perfect quote.  I have the Donner cut on blu-ray I think (I might have off loaded it in prep of the move – I get a little slash happy with stuff when I’m packing).

But I have great memories of Superman II – it’s quite an epic sequel and Zod is such a great villain for Superman.  Plus I’ve now discovered he is extremely fun to draw.

This is part of the 366 Characters from 366 Films project running throughout 2020. The original illustrations go on sale over on the Lee Draws Stuff store the same day (around 9:00 am Brisbane time) and are available until someone snaps it up.

Remember if you dig my stuff and wouldn’t mind seeing semi-daily journal entries which include sneak peeks, behind the scenes and first looks then head over to Patreon and subscribe for as little as $1 (US) a month.
