Spider-Man Noir Solves the Puzzle

Spider-man Noir Solves the Puzzle - ink / ink wash by Lee Sargent

I really enjoyed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which is probably a bit of an understatement as I consider it one of the best comic book films to be released. The artwork was stunning, the story a delight and the premise a LOT of fun.

I’m always excited to see (or hear) Nic Cage in a film that doesn’t suck which can be a rarity. But I loved Spider-Man Noir and his eventual obsession with the Rubik’s Cube.

I will admit though I think my favourite scene was the stinger at the end, which says a lot because I generally loath the stingers at the end. The other exception to the rule is the Captain Marvel one.

So I’ve been jonesing to draw Noir ever since I saw the film and I made the time today to do it.

The original illustration is available to buy.
(obviously until someone buys it)
