My A4 scanner doesn’t do this one justice as it is twice the size as the others and not cropped so tightly. Easily one of my most memorable film moments whilst growing up.
I had a whole different angle planned for this one but in the end I just wanted to do it this way to line up like the others and I think it was the right decision! Original is available unless someone has grabbed it
I’ve drawn this scene before but no Jurassic Park scribble series would be complete without the scene! I’m down in Tasmania right now so the rest of the Jurassic Park posts aren’t going to be too heavy on the words. The original is available unless someone has already grabbed it.
Lex Murphy: GO AWAY!Alan Grant: It’s okay, it’s okay. It’s a brachioasaur.Tim Murphy: It’s a veggie-saurus, Lex! Veggie-saurus!Lex Murphy: Veggie? Jurassic Park Oh wow, I’m just having the best time doing these. I really love Jurassic Park and I have found a new love for drawing dinosaurs. I think when I’m having fun it really shows […]
The Jurassic Park purists out there will be having baby raptors right now as this is very clearly not accurate to the scene. The raptor wasn’t as frowny-faced in the film. I’m kidding, Ellie was still wearing her over-shirt during this sequence and doesn’t quite hold the arm like that. Also, the flashlight is different […]
So like the time that I decided that noses were no longer a thing for me to draw I have decided that I draw dinosaurs in a fun way and accept it for what it is and hope others don’t hate it. Because I can draw more “accurate” looking dinosaurs but I don’t think I […]
It has been an exhausting couple of weeks returning to full time work in the city. Great and I’m loving every minute of it (even the frustrating bits) but I’ve been completely drained every night. Six years ago I could balance it all no dramas but the shock to my system was completely unexpected. It […]
I honestly laughed out loud when I read this commission request, I love drawing Jurassic Park stuff but I’ve never drawn Dr Malcolm in THAT pose. So very happy to have someone request it! I LOVE how natural it seems in the movie but the moment you think about it the pose is so ridiculous. […]
I’ve drawn this a few times now and it never gets old. Such an iconic beauty, I’m so happy they preserved it for Jurassic World. I’m really shocked that they haven’t released an official LEGO set for the gates, that’s kind of insane that they haven’t.
Whilst I won’t be doing a “Laura Dern 365” in 2019 as was suggested to me via Twitter the other day I was intreagued enough to draw our favourite paleobotanist Dr Ellie Sattler from Jurassic Park. I really enjoy doing these ones as they’re a lot more free form and the colours blend nicely.
