We no longer need fear the banana

I used to do these for the Star Trek TOS episodes (there’s a lot of episodes though in one season of TOS) so I’m going to resurrect these pencil & watercolour episode posters for my rewatch of The Orville. Apparently, we’re not seeing new The Orville until December which is a long time between drinks LOL.

Thought this was a great first episode and it holds so much promise for a rich universe to discover.

The original is available on Etsy.

I haven’t done enough The Orville fan art and with the Star Trek 365 going on this year I wanted to make sure I was doing other stuff along side the project.

This is from the episode Old Wounds and it’s a wonderful scene showing off the potential for this new show taking the Star Trek sensibilities further with more accessible CGI and broader ideas around what aliens should look like.  The show benefits from not having the “rules” or baggage that Trek has and it’s obviously a labour of love.

You can colour this one in yourself – free downloadable colouring page available.
